Mechanical press operator — Oakland County

Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Oakland County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy press shop. Day-to-day duties: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
