Kitchen steward — Sullivan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Sullivan County, New York. You will work in a hospital canteen. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Punctual, reliable and hard-working • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers Day-to-day duties: • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
