Gas meter installer — Duplin County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Duplin County, North Carolina. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. Day-to-day duties: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Able to read isometric and site drawings 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
