Join our team: we are hiring a rigger in Crook County, Oregon. You will be based at a container port. On the job you will handle: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Read lift plans and method statements before starting You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
