Foundry operative • Cloud County, Kansas

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Cloud County, Kansas. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day to day you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
