Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in George County, Mississippi. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code The role involves: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Load and index turning tools in the turret Full-time with occasional weekends.
