You should have: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Day-to-day duties: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
