Urgent requirement: we are hiring a QC inspector in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, England. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Your main tasks: • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings Performance bonus on top of base pay.
