Offshore rigger — Sabon Gari

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Sabon Gari, Kaduna State. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Day-to-day duties: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
