Gang bricklayer — Medway

Join our team: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Medway, England. The role involves: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Rotating shifts.
