Vacancy available: earthmoving plant operator (Alabama)

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Crenshaw County, Alabama. You will be based at a landfill site. The role involves: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Part-time with flexible hours.
