Falsework carpenter wanted in Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Franklin County, Texas. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. Requirements: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites On the job you will handle: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
