Machine operator — Lee County

Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator in Lee County, Virginia. You will be based in a textile mill. Your main tasks: • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
