Conventional mill operator — Hancock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Hancock County, Iowa. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to grind and set HSS cutters 6+ years on the tools preferred.
