We are recruiting: backhoe loader operator (Colorado)

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Alamosa County, Colorado. You will grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. Ideal candidate: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Overtime paid at a premium rate.
