Immediate opening: powder coating line operator (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Southampton, England. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process On the job you will handle: • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,850 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
