Baker wanted in Douglas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a baker in Douglas County, Colorado. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Your main tasks: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Score the top of loaves before baking • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards 6+ years on the tools preferred.
