Vacancy available: die-casting operator (Washington)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Benton County, Washington. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts The role involves: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Part-time with flexible hours.
