Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Hughes County, South Dakota. You will work at a road-building project. Your main tasks: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
