Join our team: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Marion County, Iowa. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Day-to-day duties: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Full-time with occasional weekends.
