Elevator technician — Rockdale County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Rockdale County, Georgia. The job is on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Your main tasks: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
