Vertical milling machine operator — Effingham County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Effingham County, Illinois. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
