Immediate opening: we are hiring a smash repairer in Colleton County, South Carolina. You will work in a smash repair workshop. The role involves: • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
