Production operative — Nelson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production operative in Nelson County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills The role involves: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
