Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection The role involves: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes 3+ years on the tools preferred.
