Hydraulic press operator — McIntosh County

Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in McIntosh County, Georgia. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. On a typical shift you will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; record output and downtime on the production sheet. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
