Sample machinist — Fleming County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Fleming County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
