Precision welder — Monroe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Monroe County, Georgia. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE On a typical shift you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints.
