Join our team: stitching operator (Maine)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stitching operator in Lincoln County, Maine. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
