Garment presser — Del Norte County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment presser in Del Norte County, California. You will work at a garment factory. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On the job you will handle: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
