Immediate opening: sheet metal roofer (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal roofer in Burnet County, Texas. The job is at a roofing and cladding contractor. Ideal candidate: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls On a typical shift you will erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
