Bricklayer wanted in Ayamelum

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Ayamelum, Anambra State. The job is on a commercial construction site. You will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
