Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
