Backhoe loader operator — Elbert County

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Elbert County, Colorado. You will be based in an open-cast mine. The role involves excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. You should have: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
