Precision welder wanted in Mercer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Mercer County, New Jersey. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. You will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
