Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Arapahoe County

Join our team: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Arapahoe County, Colorado. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block.
