RCC mason — Johnson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a RCC mason in Johnson County, Illinois. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works On a typical shift you will erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
