Garden maintenance worker — Jones County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Jones County, Georgia. You will be based at a plant nursery. Day-to-day duties: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers You should have: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Part-time with flexible hours.
