You should have: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety On a typical shift you will set up and start the machine as per the job card; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper.
