Vacuum press operator — Norman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Norman County, Minnesota. The role involves: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Full-time with occasional weekends.
