Argon welder wanted in Barton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Barton County, Missouri. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work You will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
