Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Sheridan County, Nebraska. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day You will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser.
