Safety officer — Nelson County

Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in Nelson County, North Dakota. You will be based at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
