Site safety steward — Summit County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in Summit County, Ohio. The role involves: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
