Day-to-day duties: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Season and marinate meat on request Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience.
