Hydraulic press operator — Madison County

Join our team: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Madison County, North Carolina. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Your main tasks: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Rotating shifts.
