Fusing press operator — Ulster County

Join our team: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Ulster County, New York. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases You will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure.
