Pipe TIG welder — Geauga County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Geauga County, Ohio. You will work on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
