Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Jenkins County, Georgia. You will be based on a building construction site. What we are looking for: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times On the job you will handle: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
