Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Monguno, Borno State. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams ₦260,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
